The Best Revenge: Success Is Not Just A Word

by

Enthusiasm exploding

Imploding controlling

Energy turning, building

Ideas brilliantly sparkling.

Stopping out of question

Roaring like a lion

Questioning velocity

Thundering on Earth.

Naysayers stunted

Success a revenge

Revengeful no longer

Life has changed.

Life changing events

Images forgotten of

Unforgiving words

Uttered unrespecting.

Imagination is limitless

Inspiration is plenty

Questions vanishing

Doubt vaporizing.

Award justified

Perseverance unlimited

Jubilation coming

Gratification done.

Mind unrelenting

Opinion relating

Thoughts materializing

Finalizing success.

Acclaim to the Maker

Praising and thanksgiving

Exalting His goodness

To Him we bow our heads.

Good job and nice poem. It made me think though. I can't however, stop to reflect that we always seem to have praise for God when we are successful. I wonder if we can do the same in dispair? Nice job.

Thank you for your warm and kind words, it means a lot to me.  Thank you for taking time reading and commenting my poems, I am truly honored.  It is true what you said, how we are likely to give thanks and praises to the Lord when everything is fine, but how about when it is not?

Interesting cadence and rhythm. Message is hopeful and sure to inspire many. I'm not much for inspirational poetry, but I do recognize quality and this passes the test.
