Seven Easy Ways To Increase Your Searchwarp Community Interaction Score

Searchwarp is a community, a place where you want to become a part and belong. Participation is encouraged as in any community. I have outlined the seven easy steps to promote community interaction.

When you are logged in at Searchwarp.com, click the Control Panel then click the underscored "Your Community Interaction" which will then take you to the Community Interaction Score Calculation. To accumulate points you will have to do the following:

  1. COMMENTS: Leave comments right after reading an article or when you read articles through the Reader's Club. You will earn one point added to your Community Interaction Score when you read an article via the Reader's Club and one credit added to your Reader's Club.  You will receive an additional credit to your Reader's Club when you submit a comment of more than ten words. You will not earn any points if you opt to skip. (Remember the "Be Nice" rule when leaving comments, mean and irrelevant comments will be removed by the editors.)

  2. WELCOME NEW AUTHORS: Under the heading "Interesting Stuff" at the right hand side of the home page, click New Authors! Read their articles and leave comments, welcome them to the Searchwarp community, the more authors you welcome, the more points you will earn.

  3. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: Click Control Panel. Click the black Q & A icon at the lower left-hand corner. This page tells you your current Q & A points, the number of questions and answers you posted. You can also enter your new question here. Please note that when you post your question your picture will appear in the homepage. You will see the drop down list of categories, question types, status, points offered. You can post as many answers here and earn as many points by clicking each questions and answering them..

  4. BIRTHDAY WISHES FOR SW MEMBERS: Under the "Interesting Stuff" column, right hand-side of the home page, click "Upcoming Birthdays" Scroll down and type your birthday wishes in the white box at the very bottom of the page. If you do not see the box where you can enter your wishes, visit it again until the box is available. Remember to add your birthday here, so that members can post birthday wishes to you. The wishes are posted weeks in advance and will be emailed to each celebrant on his/her birthday. You earn points here, too.

  5. FAN CLUB: You can earn a maximum of 100 points here when you join the fan club of your favorite writers. Click the red heart symbol right below the writer's name and you will become a member of the author's fan club. There is no limit to the number of fan clubs you will want to join. In the "Community Interaction" page you will also see the total number of fan clubs of which you are a member.

  6. YOUR PROFILE PICTURE: Upload your profile picture and you will earn 20 points.

  7. RESPONSES TO COMMENTS: When you post an article and readers leave their comments, it is good etiquette to respond to their comments. A number (with a minus sign) will show up in the Community Interaction Scoreboard if you have not responded to their comments. For example, there are six comments that you have not responded, it will show -6. Once you posted your responses, that number will disappear and 6 points will then be added to your score. Responses to Comments Needed will appear as 0.

The first 100 members with the highest interaction score are listed in the Searchwarp Writers' Community Interaction Hall of Fame. At homepage, at the right-hand side under the caption of "Interesting Stuff" click the 19 th item, Community Hall of Fame and you will see a list of members who are actively involved in the community. You can also view your community interaction calculation in this page.

I hope this article is helpful to you. I am very thankful that I am a member of this community. More power to the Searchwarp editors and staff!

Hi Krystalina. Thank you so much for joining my fan club, it is a pleasure and an honor. I have read some of your articles especially the one about how to register ones written work. All of your articles are very informative and interesting and I will read all of them one day.
Regarding the Searchwarp Community Interaction Score, the points show how active is your participation in the SW Community and is entirely independent from your popularity rating (the number shown in parenthesis right next to your name). Thanks again for stopping by.
Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and yours,
Nenita

This is the sort of basic descriptions I like. I am not happy with sites making their descriptions sound as if they were written by a solicitor. SearchWarp is not included in this descriptive comment, of course.
